The International School of Arizona is proud to announce the establishment of the Maria Mercedes Berman Endowed Scholarship Fund, a lasting tribute to Maria Mercedes Berman and her remarkable 17 years of service to our school community.

As a beloved teacher, colleague, and Director of the Spanish Program, Maria has dedicated her career to nurturing students through language, culture, and meaningful connections. The Maria Mercedes Berman Endowed Scholarship Fund has been created to honor that legacy while helping future generations of ISA students thrive. Once fully funded, the endowment will provide need-based financial assistance to currently enrolled students in ISA's Spanish Program whose families demonstrate financial need.
