International School
of Arizona's
Head of School Search

The 2026–2027 academic year will be the final year of Jason Smith’s leadership as Head of School at ISA. We are deeply grateful for the dedication, vision, and care he has brought to our community, and for the lasting impact of his leadership on our students, faculty, and families.

The Board of Trustees has engaged Mark Crotty and Joan Beauregard from Educators Collaborative to guide the search for our new Head of School.

Mark Crotty brings decades of experience in independent schools, including Head of School roles and leadership with school associations. He is skilled at guiding search committees and identifying leaders who will strengthen school culture and programs.

Joan Beauregard is a lifelong educator and leadership consultant known for building strong relationships and helping school communities realize their full potential. She provides insight and guidance to ensure the next Head of School will support students, faculty, and families in meaningful ways.

Together, Mark and Joan will assist the Search Committee in recruiting exceptional candidates who align with ISA’s mission and vision for the future.
