Welcome to ISA

(PK1 thru Kindergaren only) In order to drop off and pick up your child, you must be enrolled in our fingerprint/scanning system and listed as a pick up contact (all listed as approved drop off/pick up individuals). We encourage you, and any other authorized contacts to schedule a time to come in and register prior to the first day your child begins at ISA. We will have fingerprinting stations available during both New Student Orientation and on Hopes and Dreams Day. Please email isafrontdesk@isaz.org for an appointment and any additional questions.

Early School (8:00am - 8:30am) Lower School (7:45am - 8:15am) Middle School (7:45am - 8:00am) Early School parents must park, then enter the building through our front doors. Once you have signed in using the fingerprinting system, you may escort your child to the classroom. We encourage drop off by 8:20am so children have time to get settled. For any PK1-4 and Kindergarten students arriving after 8:30am, we ask that the parent sign in using the fingerprinting system and then a staff member will escort the student to their classroom. Lower and Middle School students may be dropped off in the designated car line or walked by a parent to the patio entrance. Students arriving after their designated drop-off window must check in at the Front Office to receive a tardy slip before proceeding to class.

Early School (2:30pm - 3pm) Lower School (3:00pm - 3:15pm) Middle School (3:15pm - 3:25pm) Early school parents must park then enter the building through our front doors. Once you have signed out using the fingerprinting system, you may proceed to the classroom to pick up your child. Exit back through the front doors of the school. Lower and Middle School students may be picked up either in the designated car line or by a parent at the patio entrance.

ISA maintains two calendars that all parents should be familiar with. The Academic Calendar outlines the official school year schedule, including all school holidays, breaks, and early dismissal days. Please note that early dismissal times are as follows: 11:30 a.m. for Early School and 11:45 a.m. for Lower and Middle School. The Master Calendar is an internal calendar accessible to all enrolled families through the ISA App. We strongly encourage families to add this calendar to their personal devices for easy reference. This calendar includes school-wide events, important dates, and other key community programming throughout the year.

IMPORTANT: We use the app as a main form of communication, it is crucial to download and enable notifications. You can download the International School of AZ app on either an Android or iPhone device. The app is a central location for many school resources including uniforms, school supplies, master calendar, ordering lunches, and much more. Please watch our app navigation video below:

Please refer to the ISA App and navigate the Uniform and School Supply tabs for all necessary links and information. Uniforms Students are required to wear an ISA-approved uniform each school day unless otherwise notified for a designated Spirit Day or special event. Please ensure your child arrives on the first day of school in full uniform. Families have two options when purchasing uniforms: Purchase New Uniforms Complete uniform guidelines, approved vendors, and purchasing information are available on the ISA App. Please allow approximately two weeks for new uniform orders to arrive, so we encourage ordering well before the start of school. Purchase Used Uniforms ISA maintains a selection of gently used uniforms available for purchase. To schedule an appointment to shop our used uniform inventory, please contact the Admissions Office. School Supplies School supply lists for the upcoming school year are available on the ISA App. Early School (PK1–Kindergarten) and Lower School (Grades 1–5): ISA provides the majority of classroom supplies. Families are responsible for supplying only the items listed on the grade-level supply list. Middle School (Grades 6–8): Students are responsible for providing all of their required school supplies.

You will receive an email in mid July prompting you to sign up for After School Activities or Extended Care if you are interested in the programs. Extended Care Office: extendedcare@isaz.org. After School Activities Office: activities@isaz.org.

ISA follows the Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports system. Each student is assigned a specific "house" when they are enrolled: Coyotes, Bobcats, Roadrunners, Gila Monsters. Each house can earn rewards and compete against the other houses throughout the year.  Please note we sell "house t-shirts" for Sports Day and other special events, which can be purchased in the used uniform office. New students will be assigned their PBIS House during Hopes and Dreams Day, or their first day of school.  Please email the Admissions Office admissions@isaz.org if you would like additional information on your child's 'house'.

Each month our Parents Association (ISA-PA) meets to discuss upcoming events,  volunteer opportunities, etc. This is a great way to get involved and make a difference at ISA. All ISA parents are welcome to attend and participate.  To find out more information about the ISA-PA, please contact ISA-PA President, René Ko here Class Reps The ISA-PA has a Class Representative made up of current parents for every grade level. The class reps work with the teachers for special events such as birthdays, door decorations, holiday parties, etc., as well as reach out to new, incoming parents such as yourself.  Our Class Representative Director is Ashley Metcalf, please contact her here for questions or how to get involved.
