Mrs. Tenyi-Varga is originally from Hungary. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and a post-graduate degree in European Studies from I’Institut d’Etudes Europeennes de I’Universite Libre de Bruxelles. Mrs. Tenyi-Varga was educated in a bilingual French-Hungarian program, similar to ISA. She lived in Belgium and in The Netherlands before moving to the U.S. She has taught many children and ages at ISA, as a teacher, an assistant teacher, and an after school coordinator. Mrs. Tenyi-Varga is fully trilingual and also speaks some Russian.

Eva Judkievicz, French PK3
Ms. Eva Judkievicz is a native french speaker who loves educating our youngest and most precious little students. She is experienced and talented. Her gentle and nurturing style creates a joyful and happy environment for our early learners. We welcomed Eva back to ISA in 2016.
Cecile Mahieux, French PK3 Assistant, Tutoring and FLE Teacher
A native of France, Cecile Mahieux holds a Bachelor in Arts in Culture Management from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne. Her work with Museum Department of Education programs led her to the Phoenix area in 2005. She is a strong believer in the importance of cultural diversity in education and loves being a part of the parent and teacher community. Cecile joined ISA in 2016.
Morgane Colombier-Leseul, French PK4
Ms. Colombier-Leseul joined ISA in 2012. She has a Bachelor's Degree in psychology from the Institut d'Enseignement a Distance, a Bachelor's Degree in special education from L'Ecole de formation Psycho-pedagogique, and she knows French Sign Language. She previously lived in Paris, France, where she was a welfare worker. At ISA, she has taught in Section A, Section B, and PreK.
Benedicte Dorier-Menke, French PK 4 Assistant
Mrs. Dorier-Menke is a native French speaker from Provence. She holds a degree in International Business. She worked as a Pre-K assistant with Classes du Soleil before joining to ISA team in March 2017. In 2015, she spent a year traveling the world with her family to expose her children to different cultures. Benedicte enjoys sharing her time and culture for the education of our little ones.
Viviane Rosevear, French Kindergarten Assistant
Mrs. Rosevear is a native French speaker from France. She speaks English and French and has had ten years of childcare experience. Mrs. Rosevear started at ISA in 2004.
Laurence Dupuis, French Kindergarten
Ms. Dupuis is from Nancy, France. After her Bachelor’s degree she was in Hypokhagne and Khagne in Poincare high school. She has a Master' Degree of History from the University Nancy II and she is a certified elementary teacher through the French Ministry of National Education. She has taught since 1998 in different levels including EC, 1st and 2nd grade in multilevel class grouping.
Alexis Bussiere, French Program Director & French Grade 1
Mr. Bussiere is from Haute-Loire, France and has a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Blaise Pascal (Clermont-Ferrand). He is a certified elementary teacher through the French Ministry of National Education. He speaks French and English. He has taught since 2000 in different grade levels, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. He taught many years around Paris and in multilevel class groupings in Haute-Loire. He also taught children with learning disabilities. This is Mr. Bussiere's 11th year as a 1st grade teacher. He joined ISA in 2010.
Aurelie Boudier, French Grade 2
Ms. Boudier taught at ISA for 3 years and is returning after a 2 year absence. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a teacher certification from the French Ministry of Education. She has taught Elementary school students for 10 years in both France, the USA and Australia.
Sylvia Aka, French Grade 3
Mrs. Aka is a native French speaker. She obtained a teaching diploma in sports and taught physical education for several years at the middle school grade levels in La Reunion and Paris. She then became an elementary teacher certified by the French Ministry of Education. Mrs. Aka has taught children in K-5th grades over the last 10 years in the Paris, France region. She hosted teacher interns in her class on a regular basis. Mrs. Aka joined the ISA team in 2014.
Catherine Thillier, French Grade 4
Mrs. Thillier has twelve years of teaching experience and five years of experience in administration and management of school activities. She joined the ISA team in 2008 when her husband was transferred to work in the Phoenix area. She has a bachelor of arts in education from the University of Chartres, France and is a certified primary teacher through the French Ministry of National Education. Ms Thillier was a primary school principal prior to coming to ISA. She has taught kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth and fifth grades. She has focused strongly on teaching in multilevel class groupings, especially in first and second grades. She is raising her two children to be trilingual.
Remi Pesenti, French Grade 5
Emmanuel Merion, French Middle School
Mr Mérion is a science teacher in high and middle school. Holder of a Master’s degree in teaching he is also a certified teacher in Life and Earth Science through the French Ministry of National Education. During his professional experience, he has worked in many places such as Mauritius, France and New Caledonia.
Sylvain Dupuis, French Middle School
Mr. Dupuis is from Epinal, France. He has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Nancy II. He is certified by the French Ministry of National Education to teach History, geography and French as second language. Starting his career in Luxembourg at the European Union Council, in 2002 he became a teacher. Now he has 15 years of teaching experience in all grades of middle and high school. He is very pleased to join ISA team with his wife, who teaches in French Kindergarten.
Florence Duviau, French Middle School
Mrs. Duviau is from Cahors, Lot ( France) and has a bachelor's degree in Contemporary literature from University Toulouse Le Mirail and a partial Master’s degree in Contemporary literature from Paris IV La Sorbonne. She is a certified teacher from French ministry of National Education. She is fluent in both English and French languages. She has been teaching in middle school since 1995, in South of France. Since 2010, she was a teacher in French literature in high school at Lycée Ozenne in Toulouse and also a teacher in general knowledge at a college of Business. She has been giving lectures for partner universities in the Netherlands for three years ( Saxxion in Enschede and Fontys in Eindhoven). She was part of a research during two years on assessment for INRP in Lyon. She joined ISA in 2017.
