SUPPORTING THE ISA
Private and corporate gifts are crucial to the mission of the ISA to provide the highest quality education while keeping tuition accessible to as many families as possible. For more information or to contribute to any of the following programs contact Michelle Borie at (480) 874-2326 or mborie@isaz.org.
Tax Credit Drive: the Arizona Scholarship Fund
Arizona law allows any eligible Arizona resident to receive a dollar for dollar tax credit for amounts given to the school of up to $1000. The donations are used by ISA as partial scholarships to families who otherwise might not be able to afford private education. This program benefits every student. Each additional child enrolled contributes to a strong student base, which improves academic programs and school infrastructure. In addition, each child uniquely contributes to the rich social and cultural environment which ISA actively seeks to create. To participate in the Tax Credit Drive visit the Arizona Scholarship Fund website and be sure to designate the International School of Arizona in the "Comments" section. The deadline is Dec 31 for each calendar year.
Building Fund
Our largest and most immediate fundraising project is the Building Fund. Our enrollment is outgrowing our current space, and any of our available options will require considerable financial outlay. The Building Fund is therefore a vital component of our 2007-2008 budget.
General Fund
Our General Fund gives the school flexibility to allocate donated money to the areas of highest need. This important fund provides resources for operational expenses, academic programs, staffing, unforeseen repairs, or any other category that may require additional funding throughout the year.
Painless Fundraisers
Our new shopping-based fundraising initiative makes it easy for parents, relatives, neighbors and friends to contribute to classroom and playground enrichment. Most programs are as easy as a one-time scan of your grocery store loyalty card, allocating a percentage of your expenditures directly to the ISA.
