Parents Association

The ISA Parents Association(PA) supports the students, parents, faculty, and staff of the ISA in many important ways.  The PA coordinates events, supports teachers in the classrooms, assists faculty and staff, and provides opportunities for ISA parents to socialize and raise funds to improve their childrens' education.  Click the links below to learn more about the PA and how you can contribute.


Parents Association Committees

The following are the ISA Parents Association Committees for the 2011-12 school year.

 

PA Committees

Student Teacher and Appreciation

Help organize on-going teacher appreciation activities (breakfast/lunch on in-service days, etc) as well as offering support for new teachers coming to the US for the first time (helping secure car, cell phone, furniture, etc).

Fundraising
Organize painless fundraisers (grocery stores, etc), as well as any other fund raising events for the PA (not including the soiree)
Social Activities
Organize fall welcome breakfast or event, family picnic, early release activities, etc.
Class Activities

Help bring additional education components to the classroom (Phoenix Art Museum "Art Masterpiece", Mad Science, Children's Day, etc).

The ISA earns $.10 for every General Mills Boxtops 4 Education logo turned in. There is a repository near the mailboxes.

The school receives credit for 10% of your purchases toward educational items. Bring in your receipts or drop them in the box located at the Scottsdale Road & McKellips Food City location.

Please bring empty inkjet cartridges in for recycle. The school earns money for each one turned in.

Want to get involved?

There are many ways to help the school by contributing your time through volunteer activities.  Each year, ISA families are asked to volunteer 20 hours in any way that benefits the school.  Some of the ways you can help include:
