Genna Myhre, Programs Manager
Genna Myhre was born and raised in Telluride, Colorado and moved to Santa Barbara to attend college there. After graduating she lived in Santa Barbara for ten years and worked as an Activities Coordinator for EF International Language School. Following her passion for teaching, she received her TEFL certification and taught ESL for five years. She then moved on to work for a non-profit called Social Skills of America where she taught social and business etiquette skills to High School students in Santa Barbara County. She recently moved to Scottsdale to be closer to family and loves working at ISA. When she isn't at ISA she is with her super active 1 year old boy, hiking and playing outside whenever they can.
Daisy Maldonado-Hernandez, Lead Aftercare Assistant
Daisy is currently a student at Gateway Community College pursuing her associates in applied science. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She has been with ISA since 2016, has taken several childhood development courses, and has experience care-giving for children with special needs.
Justine Kennedy, Lead Aftercare Assistant
She studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and lived in 5 countries and traveled to 20 countries. She has taught English in South Korea, and Hong Kong to elementary schools and worked in Private and Governmental hospitals in Thailand to help create International Departments and taught Medical English to all the medical staff. She enjoys playing soccer, hiking, fitness, cooking, traveling and is a big foodie...as well eating yummy snacks all day 😉
Melissa Legore, Aftercare Assistant
Melissa previously worked for ISA in 2008-2012, and served as Summer Camp Coordinator for ISA in 2018. In high school, she studied French for four years and was French Club president her Senior year. Her first child care job was as a tutor in high school and fell in love with education. She loves art, science, and cake.
Ashley Maldonado, Aftercare Assistant
Ashley Maldonado was born and raised in Arizona. She is currently enrolled in Mesa Community College and pursuing her associates in applied science. Her plan is to get her bachelor's degree in Pediatric Nursing after she discovered her love for volunteering in the ER at the hospital. Ashley has taken early childhood development courses and enjoys working with children of all ages.
Daniel Reynolds, Aftercare Assistant
Daniel's first job as a camp counselor at Friendly Pines Camp in Prescott, Arizona sparked an affinity for working with groups of youth. He holds a degree in music from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and enjoys all opportunities to sing and instruct about the great art of music. When not at ISA, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and board games, and enjoying life with his wife Krystal and three little ones: Saffron, Golda, and Malcolm.
