Tammy Iles-Cremieux
English Department Chair
Teacher: English 2nd Grade

Mrs. Iles Cremieux leads the ISA English Program teaching staff and has five years of teaching experience in elementary and middle school.  She has a BA in English from Arizona State University and is a certified secondary teacher through the state of Arizona.  Mrs. Iles Cremieux is working toward becoming a certified Spalding teacher.  Mrs. Iles Cremieux worked at a public middle school in Tucson prior to coming to ISA in 2008.  She has taught pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, fifth and seventh grades.  She is raising her two children to be bilingual.

Gail Gold
Teacher: English 3rd, 4th, 5th Grades

Gail is from West Hartford, Connecticut and has a BA in elementary education with a minor in psychology from Central Connecticut State University and an MA in elementary education from Ottawa University.

 

 

 

 

Margaret Lehn
Teacher: English Pre-K & Kindergarten

Margaret is from Scottsdale, AZ and has a BS in psychology Arizona State University and an MS in infant mental health. She speaks English and American sign language. Margaret began her career in childhood education with after-school and summer teaching positions during college.  She has taught sign language to children ages 3 though 5 and was a preschool teacher from 1993-1996. 

Cindy Armgort
Teacher: English 1st Grade

Mrs. Armgort is a certified teacher holding a master’s degree in education with a specialization in English, Biology, and Pedagogy. Her bilingual background combines strengths in both English and German. She has taught students in Pre-K through 12th grade in international schools and immersion programs in Boston, MA and Germany.

 

 

Gaiane Hochard
FLE Instructor & French Kindergarten Assistant

Gaiane Hochard is a native French speaker from France. She speaks English and French and has had five years of childcare experience. She started at ISA in 2011.

 

Lynette Nunez
Music Teacher

Lynette is from Page, Arizona and has a BA in vocal performance/musical theater from Arizona State
University and an MA in music education. Lynette has been teaching the Chandler Children’s Choir since 2009.

 

Ashley Conway
Choir Director

Ashley Conway is currently a doctoral student at ASU.  She holds a Masters in music education and a Bachelor of Education in music. She has 3 years experience as the Choral Director at North Hall Middle School. Ms. Conway has received many honors and accolades in her career as a teacher and comes to us highly recommended by the Chorus Master with the Phoenix Symphony.

Jamie Arnett
Choir Assistant

Jamie Arnett is from Mesa Arizona.  She is a Choral Education student at Arizona State University. She has studied voice for 7 years, and violin for 12. Ms. Arnett performs with Arizona State's Schola Cantorum choir and has 3 years experience working with children.

Melissa Ryan
After-School Care Supervisor

Melissa Ryan is a native English speaker from the U.S. She speaks English and French and has six years of childcare experience. Ms. Ryan started at ISA in 2008.

Viviane Rosevear
After-School Care Assistant

Viviane Rosevear is a native French speaker from France. She speaks English and French and has had ten years of childcare experience. Mrs. Rosevear started at ISA in 2004.

 

Alejandra Galaz
After-School Care Assistant

Alexandra Galaz is a native Spanish speaker from Mexico.  She speaks English, Spanish and French and has five years of childcare experience. Ms. Galaz started at ISA in 2011.

Itzel Mejia
After-School Care Assistant

Itzel Mejia is a native Spanish speaker from the U.S. She speaks English and Spanish and has had five years of childcare experience. Ms. Mejia started at ISA in 2011.

 

 

Saturday Program

Sharon Brown
Saturday Class Coordinator

Sharon Brown is responsible for student enrollment for school and extra-curricular programs. She is from Northern Ireland, studied French in High School and has lived in four countries. Mrs. Brown has been working at ISA since 2009.

Monika Dorfman
Saturday German Instructor

Monika Dorfman was raised in the Italian Alps in a bilingual setting. She teaches German language to pre-school children and occasionally teaches both Italian and German to older students and adults. Ms. Dorfman spent eight years teaching middle school and two years teaching special education in Italy. She taught four years of German in a German Kindergarten (3-6 year olds) in Munich, Germany. She worked as lead teacher at the Montessori Desert Shadows School in Mesa, AZ. She holds a two year Montessori certificate acquired from South Mountain Community College

 

Holly Hansen
Saturday French Instructor

Holly Hansen is from Minnesota. She holds an MA in French from Colorado State University. Ms. Hansen lived in France and Japan and has taught French to all age groups. She has worked at ISA in the French Pre-school, Extended Care, Saturday Classes, and Summer Camp Programs.

Lupita Denholm
Saturday Spanish Instructor

Lupita Denholm is a native Spanish speaker from Mexico. She speaks English and Spanish and has had ten years of childcare experience. Mrs. Denholm started at ISA in 2010.

 

Sofia Alverez
Saturday Spanish Instructor

Sofia Alvarez is a native Spanish speaker from Mexico. She speaks English and Spanish and has four years of childcare experience. Mrs. Alvarez started at ISA in 2009.

Monika Dorfman
After-School Italian Instructor

Purification Marquez
After-School Spanish Instructor

Puri Marquez is from Laguna de Duero, Spain. She speaks Spanish and English. Ms. Marquez has taught ages 3-6 years old and she currently teaches the Spanish section B class at ISA.

Carolina Munguia
After-School Mandarin Assistant

Carolina Munguia was raised in a bilingual household speaking English and Spanish. She is currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Chinese and Spanish language at Arizona State University.

 

Sherri Phillips
After-School Guitar Instructor

Sherri Phillips is a private guitar instructor teaching in various settings throughout the Valley. She studied classical guitar performance at Arizona State University and specializes in teaching guitar to young children.
