ISA in the Community
Part of giving our children a global education means opening their eyes to how they can contribute to the world. ISA and its families believe that Community involvement is an important value to model to our children. Through these experiences, we all benefit with increased awareness, expansion of our horizons and making new friends. We believe that we can all do more to be citizens of the world, including:
- Giving back to our community through service projects
- Participating in community events
- Taking responsibility and action to preserve our environment through Project Green ISA.

Recent Community News
Winter Coat Collection Drive
ISA is collecting gently used Winter coats for a local charity. Donations are being accepted in the school lobby. Students are learning how to help others while recycling clothing items.

Canned Food Drive
ISA and ASU Preparatory Academy are collaborating on a common service project by holding a canned food drive to benefit St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix. Donations of canned food items will be accepted in the school lobby from March 14 through April 13, 2012. The donated items of both schools will be combined and prepared for delivery on Saturday April 14, 2012 at the 6th Annual International Languages Expo for Youth.

Service Projects
ISA believes in giving back to our community through service projects. Staff and families are invited to recommend and participate in projects in our community.
Here are some examples:
- Serving meals in the family dining room at Saint Vincent de Paul
- Packaging dry food shipments for the world’s hunger children at Feed My Starving Children
- School supply collection by staff for IRC refugee students
